Pet care experience
I have been volunteering and working on a professional level with house pets (especially dogs) for several years now. I have experience with dogs of several breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Besides dogs, I have experience with cats and exotic pets. I have a reliable means of transportation, but I am not available 24/7 as I work full-time as a histologist for a dermatology practice. I had a family dog for nearly 13 years and before he passed away he taught me many important life lessons. My husband and I have one dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon. I am not new to pet sitting, I am very responsible and provide exceptional service.

Grotto had a fantastic stay with Amanda over the long weekend. He's an anxious dog, was a long-term shelter resident before we adopted him, and can sometimes have a hard time adjusting to new situations, but he was immediately comfortable in Amanda's care. She did a great job of giving us updates, letting us know he was eating well, got through the first night fine, etc., which made it much easier for us to relax and enjoy our trip. We will definitely send Grotto there again, and we highly recommend Amanda!
Amanda is an animal lover like no other! She's very hands on and caring when it comes to her own animals and others animals. She works with animals, she has various animals of her own ranging from a bearded dragon to our family dog. She's very reliable and she will make an excellent pet sitter for you :)
Talk about who let the dogs out! Amanda does great with my 7 month old Golden Retriever mix. It's nice to know I can leave her in good hands when I'm busy and know she will get all the exercise she needs.
Amanda had always had a special love for animals. Ever since she was little she would always take care of animals and make sure they were always happy and well taken care of. She works with animals and absolutely loves it. She is very responsible with any animal that you may need to be taken care of.

I have a single story home with a fenced in yard. I live in a quiet neighborhood that is great for walking any time of the day. It is just my husband, our dog, and two cats in our home. If a pet is staying with us I like to a trial run to let them meet my dog and confirm that they get along.

I work four ten hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday 8 am - 6 pm, but I am avaliable on Mondays, weekends, and evenings to sit.
