Pet care experience
I love taking care of animals! I love to help my friends and family by taking care of their fur babies when they’re out of town or just need somebody to watch them for a day at work.

Amanda was amazing! She sent us daily photos of our babies while we were gone and would tell us a little bit about their day each night. I could tell from the photos my dogs were being spoiled with lots of love. She also cleaned dishes, took out the trash, washed her sheets and remade the bed before leaving! It was so nice to come home and not have to worry about any of that. If you are in need of a sitter I highly recommend her!
Amanda was absolutely fabulous! She took great care of my two pups and made sure to send me all the fun picture updates. She stayed in communication with me the entire time ensuring her care was everything the pups needed. Highly recommend!
Amanda is wonderful! She has house sat for me before and her drop-in visits are just as wonderful for my pups!
Amanda is an absolute gem. I changed my reservation the day before to add an extra day and she was very accommodating. She came to my house to meet my dogs and let me show her around before house sitting. During my trip, she sent plenty of photos and let me know how my two dogs were doing. She left my house impeccably clean, and even folded the towels I had in the dryer! She also washed her dishes and my dog’s bowels. I could not recommend Amanda more!

I would like to do meet and greet with the pet owners to find out as much information about their pet as possible as well as get to interact with their pet so that we become familiar with each other. This helps build trust between myself and the animals I care for. I also like to have a written plan of feeding and walking times and any special medical treatment that needs to be taken care of, favorite toys, etc.

I like to do a meet and greet with the owner and pet(s) to get to know them first. I like to find out as much as possible from the pet parent about the dogs likes and dislikes and needs.
A typical day
I like to take dogs for walks, play at the dog park, car rides (only if they like them), & play catch. If the dog prefers to stay indoors, we can play with their favorite toys or give lots of hugs and cuddles if needed.

Availability
I am a traditional calendar teacher here in Raleigh and I’m heading into summer break. My summers can get to be a little bit boring with not a whole lot to do. I would like to help people in my community by taking care of their pets while they’re on vacations throughout the summer.
