Hi everyone, my name is Amanda! I’m so happy to have the opportunity to care for your fur babies while you’re away! I’ve taken care of my own pets, pets of friends, family, and neighbors since I was young and have been caring for pets on Rover since 2022. I will do everything I can to make your pet as loved and comfortable as possible whether I’m just there for a 30 minute drop-in or staying the night and house sitting. I know it can be a little scary trusting a stranger with your furry family member and allowing them in your home, but I assure you that your pet will be very much loved and cared for and your home will be respected. I always send picture updates to my clients so you’ll be aware of what’s going on.

Be sure to inform me of any unique traits that you’d like me to know about your pet and any special requirements or requests such as: if they take any medication, if they follow a specific diet, if they need to be crated when being left alone at the house, etc.
A typical day
I’m a pretty active person so I enjoy playing with dogs (tug of war, throwing a ball, chasing them around) and/ or taking them on walks. With cats, they’re of course typically more laid back but I still love to engage with them with their toys (lasers, teaser wands). They’re sure to be entertained. And after we’re all worn out, we can have some snuggles!

Availability
I am a full time student at Ole Miss but my schedule is pretty flexible. As long as I’m not in class, I would love to be looking after your pet! The services I provide are drop-ins, house sitting, and dog walking. Just message me dates and times and we can figure out if we’d be a good fit!
