Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of neighbors and families pets since I was about 12 years old. Since starting pet sitting on River I have definitely expanded that experience, and have had nothing but very satisfied clients. I currently work at petsmart and a vet clinic. I help to take care of the boarded cats and dogs in the vet clinic, and even administer medications! I clean all types of pet messes all day at work, nothing in that nature has ever bothered me. I’m going to be going to school for vet tech very soon— this overall field of work is my passion. I have experience with aggressive dogs and cats (they just need extra love and understanding)… big strong dogs, and even small petite pups! Your pets are always in good hands in my care.

Amanda has taken good care of my animals.(2 dogs, 2 cats and a hamster) She is definitely an animal lover. She is very trustworthy and reliable. I would highly recommend her. She is always doing research on different kinds of animals keeping up with what’s good and bad for them. She is very energetic and loves taking my dogs on walks. Amanda is our #1 Pet Baby Sitter. With 3 cats and an elderly dog, going away on a vacation always presents with a challenge of "Who will take care of our pets when we are away"? Amanda has cared for our pets on numerous occassions, and we never have to worry! We are able to go on vacation and have peace of mind knowing she will be there to proivde excellent care. Amanda has a genuine love for all animals and cares for our pets as if they were her own! We feel very fortunate to have found someone who loves and cares for our pets like we do!
Amanda is a loving, caring, and compassionate young lady with all animals! She has taken care of our 5 dogs and 4 Guinea pigs when my fiancé and I went away on vacation for 9 days! She did an amazing job! My dogs are my kids and they all loved Amanda! Amanda has a special connection with animals! She’s a vegetarian and is against every kind of animal abuse. I trust her completely with my pets! We were able to enjoy our vacation and not have a single worry while we were away! What ever your pet needs, I can provide. I am more than happy with playing with your pet inside or outside your house, such as playing fetch or even just cuddling if that’s more your pets style! I will also feed your pet or walk them if that’s needed as well. It all depends on your pets needs! Even if your pet makes a mess (an accident on the floor) I have no problem cleaning it up. All pets do it at some point or another.

If your dog has any disabilities, or anything that may trigger them in any way is good to know! If they take any oral medication, I can administer that even to the toughest pups that refuse. Anything that’s not something a typical dog would do or have is something I’d like to know.
A typical day
I love taking my personal dog to the dog park, around the neighborhood, or just playing fetch in my backyard. I do these activities with all the dogs I’ve watched. I’ll even cuddle and have chill time if that’s more your dogs style!

I currently work 2 jobs but I always find ways to fit pet sitting into my schedule because it’s part of what I love to do! I work at petsmart and a vet clinic currently. I can do early morning visits and evening visits during the week days, and I get off at 12 on Saturdays and sundays I’m off from work!
