Pet care experience
I have been a life long dog owner and animal lover. I have owned and cared for all sizes and varying breeds through the years, including all stages of life. I have helped friends and family over the years with their animals. I also have access to a certified dog trainer as I have a cousin who runs a pet boarding house/daycare in northern MI.

Fantastic! Will absolutely book again
Amanda was great with my dog who is scared when he’s with someone new. She got him settled and I appreciated her calm and straightforward approach. A nice place for Benny.
Amanda gave us regular updates and was quick to respond if we had any questions. Our husky had a great time staying with her. Will definitely use her boarding services again.
Amanda was so responsive and accommodating! My schedule kept changing, but she took everything in stride and made my life so much easier. I could tell my dog was mentally and physically stimulated during his stay - he is so tired now! Amanda sent me regular updates and pictures which really eased my separation anxiety. I would definitely book her again!

I have a fully fenced in yard to keep your pets safe and secure. I can also provide a crate for your doggo if that is their safe space. I do have 1 dog in my home, a Bluetick Coon Hound named Rupert (he is about 70lbs). He is a great dog, very friendly and always up for meeting a new pupper friend!

Please let me know about any quirks that are important to be aware of. Are they avid chewers and need toys for stimulation? Do they get aggressive over their food if approached by another dog or person? How are they with small children as I have a 2 year old?
A typical day
We will play inside and out in the fenced backyard. My neighborhood has extensive sidewalks and a complete path around the community for exploration, including a stretch through a wooded area.

I work full time from the office however my brother is home all day and helps with the animals. I am also available on weekends to stop over or bring your dog to my home should you need overnight accommodation.
