Pet care experience
I took a hiatus from Rover for a bit, but I'm excited to be back! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages and energy levels. I work from home so I'm able to take dogs out for potty breaks and to play a couple times a day. Dogs in my care for multiple days are alone maximum of 5 hours at a time unless otherwise specified. I'm good with basic commands (sit, stay, come) and always err on the side of safety in dog parks or other off-leash areas. I can also handle complicated feeding routines and medication (extra cost may apply). Whatever your dog's routine is I can adhere to it to try to keep anxiety low for both dog and owner :). I do come with my own dog, Frank, who is a very snuggly and well-behaved, medium-sized mixed breed who gets along with other dogs. I can provide his daycare references if you'd like!

We are nervous dog-parents, but felt really comfortable and confident leaving our girl with Amanda. She texted cute pics and updates and we came back to a happy healthy pup after our weekend away. We already have Amanda booked for a long trip during the holidays!
Amanda was a great house and animal sitter. She let us know when she arrived and sent photos of our dog a couple of times. Our plants were well attended as was our home. We arrived home to happy and relaxed pets.
Amanda was a wonderful sitter for our dog Henry. She sent us updates during our week trip and we felt very comfortable with her staying at the house and she seems very trustworthy. We came home to a clean house and a happy dog:) We will definitely book her again!
We are so happy that we found Amanda, especially on short notice. We felt totally comfortable leaving our baby with Amanda. Lucky has a heart condition and requires a lot of medications, and I was very happy that Amanda was able to administer the many different meds while we were gone. We will definitely book Amanda again!

What commands the dog knows, any restrictions to diet/exercise, play preferences and any behavior issues. I'd prefer not to sit for dogs who have aggression problems either toward people or other dogs, but breed is not an issue if your dog is friendly and well-behaved.
A typical day
I'm game for the dog park with dogs with good recall. If not, long walks around Portland are just fine with me! I like to take several walk breaks a day to get my own steps in :).
