Pet care experience
I have experience with a wide variety of animals, from as small as a dwarf hamster to as big as a great dane. Some of the dog owners who I have helped in the past have left testimonials on my profile. With a passion for animals, I recently adopted a puppy in August and have taught him basic demands and potty trained him. I have also learned how to administer oral medication and eye drops to dogs. Before COVID-19, I would volunteer at the Montogomery Animal Shelter to help socialize the dogs & cats. At the age of 12, I started watching dogs for my family and friends. I offer both overnight boarding and daily check-ins to walk and feed the dogs.

Amanda is a responsible and experienced caretaker for dogs! She always prioritizes the safety and comfort of her pets and has had extensive experience interacting and caring for a variety of different types of dogs for long periods of time. She pays great attention to detail when it comes to the health of pets and makes sure they are fed on time as well as getting adequate exercise and sleep. In addition to direct responsibilities, she is loving and affectionate towards every dog she meets and has an exceptional ability to connect with them. She would be an excellent caretaker for any dog!

Availability
I am a Senior at Virginia Tech enrolled in 12 credits this Spring 2021 semester. Due to my lectures being online, my schedule is very flexible. I can make time in my daily school schedule to be free during the morning, afternoon, and evening.
