Hello! My name is Amanda, I have been in the pet care business on rover for over 2 years, and I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of my own and family members dogs. I also am a cat lover and have had over 10 years experience with cats! While I was living in the Catskills mountains I used my home as a boarding home for all types of dogs, from Huskies, to Shih Tzu and I love and enjoy taking care of them all. I had a wonderful group of dog families that came to my home and aloud myself and family to entertain their furry family members. Now that I am in Florida I am hoping to provide wonderful services to dog and cat families in need of a dog walker or cat sitter. What sets me apart from other sitters is my natural affinity for all animals. There's no species that bothers me, and I have years of experience with several animals including dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, rabbits, iguanas, guinea pigs, dogs and cats. Growing up, my uncle Frankie was also an animal lover and I believe it rubbed off on me. I've always been surrounded by animals my favorite pet he gave to me when I was 10 years old was my pet rat Albert who I love and miss very much!

I could not use her services as I was not aware there would be more dogs there than her small dog. She had a big dog in her care who barked a lot, which is a no go with mine as she gets super nervous. Communication was not good and I wish she had let me know in advance as most other dog sitters informs about any other dog upfront
Amanda was great with the dogs. We’re super grateful she was available last minute to look after them :)

I am a stay at home mom to my youngest who are now 4 years old, and 11 months old. Dog sitting will fit my routine and won’t change anything.
