Hello, My name is Amanda and I've been working with dogs since I was about 11 when I created my own dog-walking and pet-sitting business. With my abundance of energy and my overenthusiastic love for dogs, I can keep your dog entertained and loved for hours. While you're away, I'm sure you want to keep your dog in an environment that feels like second home or a vacation-- and I can promise you to try to do just that! IT's important to keep your dog healthy and happy so I will make sure your dog gets as much playtime and affection as possible! I am available every night and every morning. For noon/afternoons, I need at least a day's notice, but I am flexible and we can surely work something out! I look forward to meeting your dog... and you of course. :)

I think it’s important to maintain boundaries in your home with also making use of the space for your pet as much as possible. In terms of playing and snuggling, keeping the activities in a larger area or an area designated for pets to wild out is important.

If a dog/cat has any triggers or habits that could potentially cause them stress (fire alarms, separation anxiety, food aggression, aggression towards other dogs), I would like to know to avoid these things or work with your pet if you would like. Any allergies and medications should definitely be reported to me in order to keep your pet healthy. I don't have a breed preference; every pet is a great pet!
A typical day
I like to take dogs to parks because I think nature is a great way to make dogs feel at home. I would like to have your dog socialize with other dogs because dogs-- like people-- need friends. For indoor dogs, I try to make the most of the space with catch or hide and seek. For cats, I love having enrichment time. So whatever activity your cat loves best and maximizing play time and maybe trying to expand their playfulness into new activities. Cuddling and affection are ALWAYS a must.

I work freelance so pet care is one of the freelance activities that I do. It’s one of the jobs that I prefer because it provides joy to me above other activities so I try to fit it into my schedule whenever I can.
