Pet care experience
Throughout the years I have cared for dogs of various sizes and breeds for family and friends. They've relied on me to walk, provide exercise, feed and provide lots of love for their dogs while they've been away.

Amanda has babysat my cat for just over a year now. She is absolutely wonderful with him, and has brought a lot of joy in his life. Every time she comes over to see him, he jumps up from his nap and becomes animated with excitement and purring. Some people just have that thing that animals are drawn to- a responsible and kind personality, and a lot of love and empathy. That’s Amanda!!! I would definitely recommend her.

I'd like to mirror your dogs routine as much as possible while they're in my care so that they feel at home and free to be themselves. When I start accepting day care and boarding clients, I will allow dogs on furniture and my bed if that's something they're used to and have adequate space for crates.

I would like to know ahead of time what your dog does and doesn't like. Do they struggle with separation anxiety? Are they protective of food, toys or comfort items? I want to accommodate them and ensure their comfort and safety as much as possible, so every bit of information is most helpful!
A typical day
From the time your dog is in my care to the time they return home, I want for them to get the most out of their walk, stay or drop-in. One of my favorite places to spend time is the lake. There's so much to see (and sniff), so this would be a common destination for time spent outdoors with your fur baby. I will focus on a brisk walk to provide the cardiovascular support that's needed for optimal health, followed by a slower leisurely paced walk for them to explore their curiosity and sniffing needs. ( Because who doesn't want to stop and smell the roses sometimes?)

Availability
Presently, I am home full-time which allows me to provide daily walks and drop-ins for your dogs! I'm available on weekdays Mon-Fri 7am-3pm. I will soon be offering daycare and boarding on the weekends as well.
