I have lived in San Francisco for 12 years and have had the pleasure of having several dogs as roommates that eventually became more like best friends during the time I lived with them. First there was a poodle-maltese that would come into my room to greet me good morning everyday, then a chocolate lab that I adventured with through golden gate park and beyond and then a golden doodle that I took everywhere. I created special bonds with these dogs that made me a dog-lover for life as well as their owners go-to dog sitters. The best parts are being able to be active with them, how care-free and happy they are and how they effortlessly spread this joy to all who encounter them. I work Tuesday-Friday so am pretty open Saturday, Sunday and Monday and all evenings. I am an early riser, so could also go on early walks with your dogs as well :)
