I’ve been dog walking and dog sitting professionally for three years and I absolutely love it. I have care for puppies and elderly dogs as well as every age, size, and breed in between. Dogs are my passion and I will always do this job.

Amanda is a great dog walker. She is good with senior ,adult, and young dogs. When my senior pup Guinness was having trouble walking due to her age, she was very gentle with her and took really good care of her. I don’t trust many people with my pups but Amanda goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of pets.
Amanda is the only dog walker and sitter I now have. She is dependable, honest and best of all fun. My dog Duke loves her. She takes him all over downtown Kirkwood so not just a walk but a very social one.

My own dogs are mostly yard dogs. They like to play in the yard but I take them on hikes and walks as well. For clients, I always try to keep the normal care schedule that the animals are used to being provided with by their owners. I will follow any feeding or walking schedule that is necessary. If a dog requires medication, I will adhere to that schedule as well. I am also able to stay the night at houses.

I do really well when pet parents give me a schedule or a routine to follow, just written down is fine. Otherwise I will provide bathroom breaks morning, mid day, and evening as well as feed twice a day. That is my general care routine if the owner does not provide me with one.
A typical day
I will play fetch with them in the yard or do enrichment activities inside. I can also take them on walks to the park or dog parks if the owner is okay with that.

Availability
I work part time and then I do dog walking and sitting full time. My walk schedule is usually Monday-Friday during the day but I’ll do walks at night and on the weekends as well. I do sittings more than boardings, but I do both all the time.
