Amanda is amazing! She took care of my cat while I was out of town. My Roomba had an unfortunate run in with my cat’s poop accident and she went out of her way to try to clean up the mess. Thank you for everything!
I have nothing but incredible things to say about Amanda as a cat sitter and person. She gave the most tremendous care to my cat while I was gone for 12 days! Ensure that my cat was happy and healthy the whole time I was gone. Also, she proved top notch communication the whole time and was always willing to go above and beyond. I would give 10 stars if i could!
Amanda is the best! Very good with animals, thoughtful and professional. We’ve loved having her as a sitter for our kitty and really looked forward to the messages and pictures she sends :) We will happily have her sit for us again in the future and I highly recommend her as a sitter for your pets if you’re checking out her profile!
Amanda is great! She showed up on time and was enthusiastic and warm with jJack. He was excited to see her again for his second walk. She clearly knows a lot about being with dogs, and was able to take him on longer walks while working on loose leash walking. Thanks Amanda!

Safety, trust & environment
After 17+ years in the veterinary field, I have seen just about every kind of injury and illness. I do my best to prevent injuries, and fix them if/when they occur. I tend to notice illness, signs of disease or changes in animals (behavior, coat, gait, etc) before most people. I love to help people keep their dogs and cats happy and healthy to ensure a longer life together. Our furry companions are the most genuine and best friends any of us could ask for.
Information Amanda D. would like to know about your pet
Please inform me of any conditions your companion may have. I am more than capable of taking care of special-needs dogs/cats, and geriatric dogs/cats. The more information I have, however, the more prepared I can be for a specific event/issue. I can customize the outing, drop-in, etc to best fit their needs.
A typical day
I have been to most dog parks in NE Portland and have had great experiences with both my dogs and other people's dogs. Having a good call-back is important. I would feel more comfortable taking your four-legged family member to off-leash parks, or on a hike if I was confident they would easily return to me. If that is not the case, on-leash walks, or throwing a ball/toy/frisbee in the safety of their backyard would be preferable.
