I’ve had pets throughout my life but since moving to Portland 8 years ago have not been able to and I miss their presence in my life so much. I regularly take care of both dogs and cats for friends. I believe I have a calming energy and often bond with anxious animals. I love days filled with long walks and would love the opportunity to care for your pet!

Amanda has been my pet sitter for the last couple years. I can’t recommend her enough. Cats can be pretty easy to take care of but mine come with a few more needs than the average feline including attention, scritches, and oral steroids. Amanda has always gone above and beyond even when we have to leave last minute. Your animals will thank you for have Amanda as their sitter!
Amanda is so great with my energetic little kitty! She is super reliable, a great communicator and I feel so at ease when she’s taking care of both my house and pet while I’m away. Would highly recommend Amanda for any of your pets needs.

A typical day
I love taking long walks/hikes. I live very close to both Laurelhurst and Tabor parks. We can play catch, frisbee, just walk and talk, or relax at home and watch tv and read!

I freelance/work from home and make my own schedule so I have a very flexible schedule seven days a week. I generally don’t travel for holidays.
