Pet care experience
I am a zookeeper and an animal lover who has had about 13 years of dog/pet sitting experience. I have 2 cats of my own, so I love to get my dog fix in whenever I can! I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, so not too much surprises me at this point. I also have experience in animal training and care as a zookeeper and can read dog and other animal body language very well. I know that some dogs are just more comfortable in their own home so I am just the person to care for them. I am available for walks, check ins, or sitting. I know what it is like to have to leave your pet in the care of another person, so I understand what pet lovers want in a sitter. I can provide updates and pictures if needed and will provide your little (or big) bundle of joy with the best care possible.

Amanda has stayed with our senior dog Koda multiple times and provides him a very caring and responsible companion in our home while we are away. I definitely feel comfortable and trusting of Amanda and always reach out to her when we have a need for a dog sitter.
Amanda did a great job of caring for our sweet Lucy! She was also kind enough to water our plants and treat our home as her own. She was a pleasure to work with!

This was my first experience using Rover and it won't be my last. I was very fortunate to have found Amanda, who impressed me right off as a smart, reliable young woman who obviously loves animals. Amanda came by twice before my departure to get the "lay of the land". She did a fine job caring for both my dog and cat in my home while I was away for a week. Everything seemed as just as I had left it when I returned - both animals happy and everything as tidy as I had left it.
