Nervous/Anxious Pet? I Can Help!
Pet care experience
My name is Amanda and I absolutely adore all critters; big and small; furry, feathered, or scaled. In my spare time, aside from spending time with my own fur babies, I enjoy travelling, weightlifting, dancing, baking, yoga, reading, and drinking a good cup of coffee :) I currently own a large mixed breed dog and a chinchilla as pets. My dog Orbie is 6 years old and is quite a character. He can be available as a companion for your pet, if requested. My chinchilla, Rosie, is 13 years old. In the past I have owned budgies, hamsters, gerbils, fish, cats, a mountain horned dragon, a tarantula, and my family has had many dogs (small and large) over the years. I also have some experience caring for snakes, ferrets, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, rats, rabbits, love birds, chameleons, hedgehogs... I think that about covers it! If I can think of any other species that I have looked after over the years, I'll be sure to update this :) I can assure you that your critter, big or small, will be cared for like it was my own while you are away.

I would prefer to do a "Meet & Greet" prior to any services to ensure that any potential bookings will be a good fit for all involved. If your dog has any triggers or reactive behaviors, please let me know so that I can provide adequate corrections. I am more than willing to maintain your preferred obedience training, walking routes, feeding routine, medication/supplement administration, and any other scheduled activities. I have a great affection for large working breeds and terriers, with that being said, I will never turn away a dog based on breed.
A typical day
I am a very active person and I can assure you that your four-legged (or three-legged!) pal will reap the benefits. I enjoy exploring other areas of the city and am always up for good game of fetch or tug o'war. But I also don't mind a good lazy day on the couch, if that's more your pet's speed, and can provide plenty of head pats and belly rubs.

Availability
I am currently a full time student and work part-time as a baker. You will find my schedule is quite flexible to accommodate most requests. I keep my calendar availability as up to date as possible. I currently share custody of my dog; so your pup will have my undivided attention on the days when I offer doggy daycare & boarding while my dog is at his other pet parent’s home.
