I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I understand the work and the joy that comes with having a dog. In my family, we have had yellow labs, a chocolate lab, a yorkie/maltese mix, and three dogs that have been rescued. They all have been wonderful. Each dog manages to display their strong and lovable characteristic qualities as you get to know them. I just got a dog of my own in April. She is a golden retriever named Bailey. She gets along very well with other dogs! I have dog sat and house sat in the past for families throughout college and throughout the start of my professional career. During this time, I took the dogs on walks, fed the dog, made sure the dog was let out enough. I was sure to respect the wishes of the family making sure I was consistent with the rules that were in play as if the family was there. I have had various dogs stay with me, in my home for a week - two weeks at a time. I always love having a special guest in the house. I live in an apartment/home with a lovely fenced, and private backyard. This is great for any dog to play outside in a safe environment. It's also great for people :) I take pride in caring for others' dogs and always put 100% effort into communicating to the owners with updates of the status of their dog, make sure their dog is content, happy, and well-fed. I love being active, and live near Sloan's Lake and find that it is a great place to take a dog on a walk. I look forward to meeting you and your dog.
