As a pet sitter, I love being able to provide a warm, safe place for dogs while their owners are away. With several years of pet sitting experience, I’ve worked with many different dog breeds. I have three dogs of my own and I have had pets in my home ever since I was a baby. I also have experience with cats, chinchillas, birds, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. I love all animals for different reasons. The thing I love most about dogs is that they love you no matter what. They are some of the most loyal and loveable creatures on the planet! I love that dog sitting gives me a chance to meet people and dogs in my neighborhood. What brings me the most joy in life is spending time with my family; human and canine. My pet sitting business is my full time and only job. I'm home all day M - F so my doggy daycares are usually not left alone. If I do have to run out, it is usually less than an hour. If I have to be gone longer than that during the week, I will inform my clients or close my daycare altogether but just for that day. However, I'm a lot busier on the weekends so I don't offer daycare on Saturdays or Sundays. But even during the weekends, I'm usually not away from my house more than a 5 hour period. I have a locked, fenced yard. I have never had an escape because my yard is very secure. The dogs are hardly ever left alone. Most of the time there is at least 1 person at home so they aren't left unattended. I also require a meet and greet before watching a new dog. This is to ensure all of the dogs will get along before the job actually starts.
