Pet care experience
Highly qualified — Veterinarian
As an avid animal lover and veterinarian, I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, horses, and more ever since I could. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2025 and completed a rotating internship at Ocala equine hospital. My family runs a small animal rescue. I have run an entire therapeutic horse riding center on my own. I’ve raised puppies and kittens from birth as well as seniors with various medical conditions. I am available for dog walks and pet sitting when I’m not working! I’m a local equine veterinarian but have experience in all species. I can work with difficult dogs/cats, reptiles, medications, puppies, geriatrics etc

Amanda is an absolute gem! She has a genuine love for animals, and with pets of her own, she understands what owners are looking for when their fur babies are being taken care of. I had a rough experience with a previous sitter and Amanda helped put my mind at ease -- she could really empathise with what happened and reassured me how she worked with animals so that I felt very confident leaving my cats in her care. My cats warmed up to her almost instantly, I've never seen them get so comfortable with a stranger before and literally on the first day when I met Amanda, they came into the same room and let her pet them (again, they normally run away and hide when someone new comes into the house). Amanda sent me pics and videos of the cats on every visit so I knew they were okay, and they seemed so happy and playful with her. When I got home, the cats were the happiest I've ever seen them -- in the past with sitters, when I would come home the cats would look a bit stressed, scraggly, and even slightly skinnier like they had lost weight. But with Amanda I could tell they were happy and it seemed like they hardly even missed us. Amanda also kept my house very tidy, which I was beyond grateful for. It was so nice to come home from holiday and be able to relax with my cats instead of spending hours cleaning up mess. I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough, hands down the best pet sitter we have every had :)
Amanda has been great at looking after my precious girl boo, I will absolutely recommend her x

Amanda was great with our dog Sandy. Kept in touch with updates and Sandy came home happy both days. Thank you!

From 1st meeting Amanda her genuine love for dogs was obvious. I too could see that she was confident around young, bouncy, mouthing puppies. I had no reason not to feel I couldn't trust her with my door key and checking in on my young puppy. She is quick to reply to messages, is flexible and accommodating. I was sent a photo of my puppy while I was out with I appreciated. I will definitely be a repeat caller on her. Marney

Amanda looked after our greyhound, Tufty, while we were away. We got home to a very happy Tufty. Amanda did a great job, looking after Tufty and the house! I left instructions and Ananda just got on with it - just sending some pics of our boy. I would recommend Amanda for dog sitting and walking - she did a great job with Tufty and I’ll definitely ask her to look after him again. Sue
Amanda was fantastic with my pet!! I was so happy to find her (and so was my cat). Amanda is professional, kind, punctual and definitely reliable pet caregiver. Additionally, it gave me great peace of mind to know I was leaving my pet in the hands of a veterinary student from the Royal Veterinary College.
