Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life and cats my whole adult life. I am comfortable working with all breeds from Tea Cup Chihuahua's to Great Danes as well as cats of all breeds. Between working at a pet store and taking training classes with my own pets, I’ve learned a lot about how pets express themselves and how to handle different situations as well as basic training skills. Thanks to my current pets, two cats, I have become well versed in administering medications without too much hassle as well(they both are considered special needs though one has more demands than the other by far).

When in someone else’s home or dealing with their pets I am always mindful of any guidelines set by their owner/person. Beyond that I give direct attention during play or exercise as a precaution. Meals are important as well and are always indirectly supervised so as to not cause distress while remaining safe.
Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet
I do ask that regular shots be kept up to date on all dogs over 6 months old and papers be provided for the Rabies and Parvo vaccines. I am open to any breed, I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a dog being "born bad".
A typical day
All animals need their minds stimulated so I am sure to play games that exercise them mentally as well as physically. Bored pets become destructive pets and that’s the last thing I want! With approval from owners, I do think dog parks (at their quieter times) are a healthy form of socialization and exercise.
