Pet care experience
We have a few acres, four dogs, and three cats. Chickens and one male duck free range the property, and we spend a lot of time gardening. We range from 8 month old working dogs to senior dogs. Would love to have your dog out to stay with us!

Amanda has the biggest heart for all animals, especially fur babies. She has raised her own puppy since she was 3 weeks old due to an injury, and she’s the best dog I’ve known. If I would want my dog in the hands of anyone else, it would definitely be Amanda!
Amanda is who you want watching your pet ! She has a very spacious yard for them to run around and play in. She was born with a love for animals. She is very responsible and you will not have to worry at all when leaving your pet with her. Your pet will instantly fall in love with her! You won't have to worry about your pet's needs being met while you are gone. She will go above and beyond whatever you ask of her !

We have three cats, so if your dog is pet aggressive we wouldn’t be able to accommodate you unfortunately, and we have two dogs that are higher energy so if that is something that would stress your dog out, we may not be the best fit for you
A typical day
Walking around the property, going to conservation areas, the river, or into town. Usually the dogs lounge in the sun while we cut wood, work in the garden, or clean up around the property.

Availability
Partner and I both work but usually one of us is home. We start the day before sunrise and take care of dogs, the animals, and spend the morning doing chores around the property.
