Pet care experience
Our family is made up of my husband and I and 3 children ages 12, 14, and 17. We have a 13 year old Shitszu-Dachshund (Schweenie) that we have had the pleasure of caring for since he was 6. Our children have been happy to dog sit for neighborhood families in the last few years. I'm a teacher so I have a good amount of flexibility in the summer. Between the kids and I, there should be someone home most of the time. Our dog has a wireless invisible fence collar that keeps him in our yard. When we leave, he goes in his crate. Our dog is walked daily depending on weather. We have a long length of cable to use for a tie out as well.

Amanda was very accommodating and easy to work with. Our dog was well taken care of while we were gone and was treated like family. Amanda was very communicative with us and we received pics/videos which was very appreciative. Would highly recommend!
I am so grateful for this wonderful family taking care of our precious Valley. I was so worried about her anxiety but they made her and I both feel so much better!! She had accidents in their house and I felt so guilty but they assured me that she was an excellent dog when she wasn't peeing on their couches and their floors. She is a rescue and we haven't had her long ourselves so we learned quite a bit more about her being away with the updates and pictures!!! I'm leaving them a tip to pay for some carpet and couch cleaner and Valley seems so relaxed to be back home with mommy!!! 100/10 recommend for your doggy care needs.
This was my first time having a dog and it was the best decision I could take when I decided to leave my 5 months old golden retriever at Amanda's place, she and her family watched my dog for a whole week and we were always talking, she sent me pictures about luka's day and he clearly spent an awesome time with them, I'm more than grateful for her love and care and I definitely recommend her if someone is looking for a family for his dog.. Thanks again Amanda, Brian and the girls for all the playtime and care to our Luka.

Availability
I am a teacher and work only 15 hours per week during the summer. My husband is off on Fridays. I feed and water our dog each morning and let him outside as needed. One of us takes him for a walk almost every evening.
