Hi! I am a young, active dog-loving nanny who would love to spend some quality time with your best friend when you have to be away. I have had animals my whole life. My professional experience of animal care taking includes 2 years of working at a kennel/grooming facility in Bellingham while I attended WWU. I have also been a long-time pet sitter for friends when they vacation and have lots of experience with dogs with special needs and necessary medical attention. Ex: my previous dog was a half blind Great Dane with epilepsy and 100% love bug. Let's chat, get to know each other, and play with fido! A little about my day-to-day life: I am a nanny for two awesome kids in Woodinville. For now, my work schedule is 7:30am-6pm M&F, 11:30am-6pm T-Th. I live in Seattle with my fellow dog-loving boyfriend. Unfortunately we live in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs :( I grew up in the Everett and now live in Seattle and very familiar with the different neighborhoods and awesome walking areas for pups. Recently, I have decided to start a training for my first half marathon. So, if your dog is high energy, we can even go on a jog!

Amanda is great with animals! We have had her watch our cat several times and occasionally our high energy dog. She always has excellent communication and will even send the occasional picture of our furry children when we are away for long periods of time. Our animals love Amanda and so do we!
Amanda is a bonafide bleeding heart, animal lover. As a college student, she adopted a Great Dane puppy. This puppy was partially paralyzed, partially blind and epileptic. She commuted to see a specialty vet for her puppy's weekly acupuncture appointments. Amanda is a caring and nurturing individual who is dedicated to everything that she does. She is compassionate and responsible. I trust her with the care of my own animals when away. She is attentive and takes initiative. I trust that my animals will be happy, healthy and cared for. Amanda is knowledgeable and informed about many areas of an animal's health, including diet and nutrition. I could not recommend her enough.
Amanda has developed a deep love and respect for animals since growing up in a house full of pets of all kinds and having the responsibility to care for them. Her work at a dog kennel also honed her skills for what proper care and training could do for a dogs outlook. Having a Great Dane of her own that she rescued from LA and cared for even though it had a few disabilities once again proved that she is one of those few individuals that a person would want to leave their beloved animal with in very very capable hands.
