Amanda was amazing! She took a short notice request from me when I unexpectedly had to go out of town. We did a meet and greet beforehand to let our dogs get to know each other a bit and her dogs were really sweet. She made Luna feel at home and took great care of her - to the point where Luna didn't want to leave her when I came to pick her up! I will definitely re-book with Amanda in the future.

Amanda is awesome! Our dog is older and also has diabetes, so he receives an insulin shot twice a day. Care for a dog like this requires careful monitoring of food intake and knowledge of symptoms of high and low blood sugar. We bumped our dog's insulin up too high right before his stay with Amanda, resulting in his blood sugar getting too low during his stay. Amanda immediately recognized the symptoms of low blood sugar and administered honey (exactly what you're suppose to do!). If he had been with someone other than Amanda, it's possible that he could've gone into a diabetic coma. But Amanda's attentiveness and quick response kept that from happening. She kept us updated on Murphy throughout his stay and sent pictures. Aside from her great care of our high maintenance dog, Amanda is super nice and quickly responds to all messages. We highly, highly recommend her!
