Hi! My name is Amanda and I have been an animal lover for years. I have grown up with dogs since I was little (2 Goldens, 2 Yorkie-poos, 1 Golden doodle) and have grown up walking them, taking them to the dog park, grooming them, and everything in between! I am located in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, IL with a flexible schedule. I go on about 4 mile walks each day (sometimes more!) and would love to help give a local pup the exercise and sunshine it needs. I live close to the many parks in the Lincoln Park area and am a short walk from the lake front path. I have personal experience in all basic aspects of animal care including walking, grooming, feeding, etc. I am very attentive, organized, and caring, and I would love to be someone you can confidently trust with your pet when you are away and in need!

Amanda has demonstrated a deep love for all dogs and excellent caretaking ability for them. While it may be easy to be responsible for personal pets, Amanda has always gone above and beyond when watching my two dogs, Nugget and Spot. She always appears with a fun-loving enthusiasm that is so unique and special. My pups always have a great time with her and I'd recommend her to anyone!
Amanda is kind and patient with dogs. I lived with her and watched her take great care of dogs she was entrusted to dog sit. She is especially experienced caring for small dogs but loves dogs of all kinds.

Although I do not currently have any pets of my own, I do have a fenced in yard where I live that would provide a great space for a pup to play safely and freely with me. I live on a safe, side walk lined street that has many dog-neighbors! It’s a very dog friendly area that a dog would thrive in

I don't have any breed preferences. My only request would just be to know the size and breed of the dog beforehand, and if it needs any special accommodations so I can provide it the best care and make sure it's comfortable!
A typical day
I live in Lincoln Park off of Clark Street, about a half mile from the lake. I have a routine schedule of going for a morning walk with a coffee down toward the lake for some morning sunshine. While my days currently consist of job searching, reading, and errands, my schedule is my own and I have the luxury of being able to spend many hours of my day outside. I go for an afternoon walk, or sometimes a run, and follow up with an evening walk as well. I try to hit 20,000 steps a day and feel that I offer a great way to get some dogs their much needed exercise!
