Pet care experience
When I was young, I always lived in a house full of animals. One of my first jobs was working as a kennel assistant at a doggy day care. I began pet sitting on Rover when I moved to Florida in 2014. I received my bachelors degree in environmental sustainability from FIU in July of 2018. Soon after I began working as a vet assistant treating cats and dogs until I started my job with the Florida Park Service. Now I live and work as a park ranger at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. I love animals and I’d love to care for yours while you’re away. I am a very mindful person so I always make sure every home that I stay in is spotless when I leave. My experience administering medication I am a trained veterinary assistant and have plenty of experience administering oral and injectable medications.

What can I say from the 1st moment we met Amanda, My wife and I including Benny knew we had made a New friend. She was polite , funny and truly seem to love what she does. I am so glad I was referred to Rover.com from a friend as my worries were soon forgotten. Amanda came out of her way to make a few visits before we left on our European Adventure. When we came home the house was immaculate and most of all my dog was happy. Two thumbs up Amanda, you have made a friend for life. Again Thank you....
Amanda was absolutely a gem, our fur babies loved her and were very relaxed when we got back from our vacation unlike when we’ve had to board them in the past. Amanda left our home impeccable, she is very clean and very organized and even sent us pictures of our pets during her stay with them, which was very thoughtful, we will without a doubt, ask for her to stay with them again whenever we go away, it was an absolute pleasure to have her.
Amanda is punctual and always takes good care of my dog Sheldon. We are big fans!!!
Amanda did a great job watching Abby, my 4 month old puppy, in my home. It was definitely no easy task, as Abby is quite a handful. The house was neat and clean upon my return and Abby seemed happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Amanda.

Time I'll spend with your dog However much time you allow me to be at your home, I would like to be there. It's hard enough for the pups to be without their owners for an extended period of time, I'd like to be there for them as much as I can. Extra house-sitting services For the people I have pet sit before in the past, I did not mind at all doing small tasks while they were away or out of town. I have swept, vaccuumed, taken garbage out. I do not mind at all.
