When I turned 6 I got my first pet - a white Cockapoo who I named after my best friend, Jenny. And I’ve loved dogs, cats, ducks, you name it ever since! As friends and family began to see my love and quick relationships build with their pets, they began calling on me for pet-sitting. It’s been over 20 years now that I have been able to give out my animal love to so many while their parents are out of town. Recently I was tutoring a little boy who had a big Golden Doodle named Biscuit. Whenever I would arrive at the door for our tutoring session, Biscuit would wrap her legs around my legs and sit on them! The family would often laugh and say “you are the only person Biscuit does that too!” I believe it is because dogs know instinctively that I love them, and they are quick to show that love back!
