Reliable responsible fur baby lover
Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Amanda. Animals make me so happy – they can go through so much, yet still love you more than any other living thing. I appreciate their loyalty and ability to forgive. Every pet, no matter the size, breed, or personality, is a treat to meet! I care about every fur baby I come across, whether it’s cats and dogs or squirrels and birds, and I am looking to make Rover my full-time gig. Walking dogs is also a great way to get more exercise. Currently, I have three cats (Jack, Delilah, and Lil’ Fat Boy) and a senior Yorkie (Nas). I previously worked as a vet tech and at a doggie daycare where I looked after up to 100 canines each day. When my foster pup, Lola, was pregnant, I learned how to perform dog CPR as I was also learning how to help through puppy birth. I’m also currently studying pet grooming and nutrition. I can travel to my clients’ homes throughout Palm Beach County and some parts of Broward County. I enjoy exploring new areas and overnight pet sitting allows me to do that. I’m a loving, responsible, and dependable person. I care deeply about each furry friend I look after and take my pet sitting responsibilities very seriously.
Reviews
Amanda get a great job taking care of Bubbles, my Goldendoodle. She's super caring, very responsive and responsible. We have taken her help twice and will definitely do so in future. Very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend Amanda
Great! We were a little nervous to leave our girl. But Amanda helped us feel more comfortable with the idea. She came to meet us before and was very flexible with the meeting times. She send us daily updates along with great photos. Will have her watch our girl again in the future.
Amanda was wonderful with Rhino! She was so flexible with the time we needed support, and our puppy was happy as a clam to spend time with her. We trust her completely to keep Rhino, fed, healthy, and happy!
Amanda housesat and took care of our senior dog, cat, and garden. She was super responsible, trustworthy, and accommodating, and had a great deal of experience working with all kinds of dogs. Our creatures loved all her attention and massages!!!! Highly recommended!

I am very good with understanding dog behavior, so if you are hesitant to get a sitter because you think your baby is “difficult” then look no further. I love interacting with the ones that seem “misunderstood.” I have sat for a dog that took most people a month or more to even pet because of his biting, that only took me about 3 days to gain his trust. I am considering getting some certifications in animal behavior.
Information Amanda A. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about your pup’s activity level, any behavioral issues, and if there's anything I should watch out for during our time together. I am used to dealing with “difficult” dogs. It would also be helpful to know about any health issues your dog has and if they take medications. When I meet a new pooch, I play with them with their toys and give them lots of pets. I drop down to their eye level to show them I’m a good guy who just wants to love them and I am someone they can trust.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to the park so we can run around and play fetch together. I also like playing tug-of-war with a rope or fetch with a ball or frisbee. When I pet sit, I provide owners with updates every day. I’ll show your dog tremendous amounts of love while I care for them – they’ll be in good hands with me. I do everything my human clients ask of me and provide my furry clients with lots of cuddles and belly rubs. I also make them going through my little photo shoots.
