Hey there! I've been raising my own husky since he was just 11 weeks old, and now he's a proud 7-year-old. We're practically inseparable! We go on walkies three times a day, so I understand the energy and needs of an active dog. Dogs have been a part of my family for as long as I can remember, so I've got plenty of experience in the furry friend department. A few years back, I even walked with Wag and racked up multiple 5-star reviews from happy dogs and their owners. Honestly, I just adore dogs and jump at any chance to lend a hand with them. When your pup is with me, rest assured they'll be treated like royalty - I spoil mine rotten, after all! Amanda watched my 1.5 year old Golden Retriever at my home for 2 nights. At the time my golden had a bad tummy. She not only implemented all of my guidelines but went above and beyond to care for her. I felt very safe with her in my home. She is very responsible and was actually one of the first people I let look after my dog overnight. My dog loves her!
Amanda has watched our Blue Heeler since he was a puppy. He is an anxious dog and she is a calm presence for him. She is a confident, reliable dog walker who is aware of her surroundings at all times. Because our dog is so anxious she crosses the street to avoid any confrontation with other dogs. She uses words of praise and our dog is so happy to see her. She is always on time and walks him for at least 20 minutes. She is positive and we feel grateful to have her!
Amanda is one of the most caring pet owners I know. Not only is she attentive to her own dog, but has a keen awareness of other dog’s personalities and needs. She’s sensitive to her own dog’s quirks and is very patient as an owner. She would make a great caretaker for any animal. Would highly recommend!
