Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I started walking and doing house stays when I was 15 years old. I have personally owned small dogs like a Bichon to bigger dogs like a Labradoodle. I have experience house sitting for multiple dogs at once and am willing to give extra attention if your pet has any medical or additional needs. I have experience caring for dogs with medical needs ranging from needing allergy medication to being paralyzed. I love dogs (and cats) of all sizes and breeds.

Amanda was absolutely amazing with my Aussiedoodle Benton. She was sure to send me plenty of pictures, take him on a ton of walks, and give him all the attention he wanted/needed.

Amanda is truly THE BEST! Our dogs have two completely different personalities and she worked so well with the both of them. They absolutely love her. She also was so great about sending pictures and updated throughout her stay and was very respectful of our home. Would recommend her to anyone and definitely booking her in the future!
Amanda was great!! This was my first time using rover and leaving my furbaby with a stranger. Amanda came to the house prior to my trip for a meet and great - I immediately felt comfortable with her. She asked questions and my furbaby was clearly comfortable with her. Amanda was great with sending updates. There were no issues or concerns. Will definitley use Amanda in the future.

Pets thrive on a schedule and I can make sure to maintain their daily routine and provide the love, care, and attention they deserve. I also know leaving your pet can be stressful so I am happy to send photos and videos as often as you like.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences I can accommodate. I do have experience with senior dogs and providing dogs with basic medical needs such as oral medication. I am happy to come learn if your dog needs any special care. It will also be helpful to know your pets schedule and their comfortability with other people and animals.
A typical day
I am happy to match the energy of your pet from staying inside for cuddles to adventurous walks. For dog check-ins, I will make sure to spend some time helping your pup get some energy out like playing fetch in the yard and giving them some well deserved attention. For walks, I’m happy to do what your pet is most comfortable with from walking around the neighborhood to the trails at pilot hill or more.

Availability
I am currently a graduate student at UW and have a flexible schedule. I am available for house sitting, drops-ins, and walks. The only time I am not available is when I’m in class, otherwise I am happy to plan my schedule around your pet’s needs.
