I am a massage therapist and come in contact with many dogs in my 20yrs of going to people's home for massage. Dogs always gravitate towards me and I've actually helped some clients along the way. Most of these dogs get a little doggie massage upon greeting.

I have a fenced in patio, If they were to be outside I'd sit with the to ensure they do not some how get out. If going into someone's home I'd follow whatever rules the client has and be sure to leave everything the way it was upon entering the home.

It's important to know feeding times and food amounts. Things that may make them nervous and how to make them feel better. I do have experience giving oral meds .
A typical day
I would definitely take on multiple walks around my neighborhood. If there's time and the client allows it might bring to the dog park or beach.

Availability
With me being a mobile massage therapist I tend to have time to be able to stop in and lend a helping hand. I'm in and out of my own house so if I were to board a dog I'm not gone all day. I'd be sure to give them lots of massage.
