My cat, Pinot Noir, has been trained extensively to perform tricks from “sit” and “high five” to say “maow”. People asked me how I managed to train a cat and I tell them with enough love and patience any animal can learn and thrive. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life specifically big dogs (100+ pounds). It is a personal dream to have a dog of my own, but with my future travel plans and my twenty something lifestyle where I work as much as possible it’s something I’m not ready for. What better way for me to express my passion for training and caring for animals than to make it a part time job!

Alyx has been caring for my Chocolate Lab, Delta, for over three years. Delta is incredibly energetic, and at times wild, but Alyx is patient and understanding. Alyx has acted as both a pet sitter and walker and I trust her entirely with my furry best friend. She sends updates with pictures of how she's doing and keeps me totally informed about my dog when I am away, Alyx is the only person I will ever leave Delta with. We love her!
Alyx is an animal lover who is great with dogs and cats. She is patient and loving and animals really respond well to her. She's reliable and prompt and I feel great knowing our pet is in her care. Definitely recommend her!
While my wife and I were away on vacation, Alyx took great care of our hovawart, Nora. We were very reassured knowing that our baby was being well cared for. Alyx provided great service at a fair price. Best of all, she took care of Nora like she was her own pet.
Alyx takes care of Remy, the absolute love of my life. Remy is a very timid dog but warmed right up to her. She is so gently and patient with my old man! Alyx walks Remy a few times a week for me and I think it’s his favorite time of the day. Remy is an aussie mix with thick fur and Alyx makes sure he doesn’t get over heated in the florida heat and will brush him for me if he needs! I highly recommend Alyx when considering your fur babies needs!

I live in lovely South Tampa close to downtown, Hyde Park and Bayshore. I find our shaded neighborhoods ideal for walks and my four legged clients tend to agree with me. I do live in a condominium building. Though spacious, my home does not include a yard. I have successfully boarded several dogs at my residence, however because of the lack of a yard I am not currently offering boarding services.

As much as possible. I require a meet and greet where we cover topics from socialization and aggressive tendencies to allergies and toy preferences. Food likes/dislikes are also to be discussed
A typical day
I offer services from walks, visits, play time, and even car rides. I would also be happy to take your dog to a nearby dog park or to Fort de Soto dog beach depending on your dogs socialization. For high energy dogs I also offer morning/evening runs and I can even roller blade with your pooch if they are well behaved. There is no better way to wear out a high energy dog than with a nice long run or rollerblade down Bayshore!

I’m currently teaching English part time either very early in the morning or the occasional night which leaves most regular hours free to play and care for your fur babies!
