Pet care experience
Thanks for stopping by and considering me for walking and visiting your dog children, which I consider an honor and privilege. I've owned dogs most of my life and find them to be the best companion at a party, especially when they're not mine. For my own pit/lab/whippet mix Lil Bug, I like to incorporate commands on our walks in order to practice safety with street and pedestrian traffic. I found this keeps my dog (and hopefully yours') focused and alert, particularly when treats are involved! The balance of love, nurture and obedience is how I approach any and all dogs, and their attentiveness and focus is my own personal little treat. I work from home as a freelancer and my flexibility is another strong suit. You'll get multiple pics on our walks and visits, if you like, or even a Facetime or Skype video call. Staying later than you thought at the office? Decided to have one more cocktail or ordered dessert at dinner? Let me know and I'll swoop in like the superhero I am! Just kidding, I only play one on TV.

Alyx has been very helpful and efficient with walking our dogs! Even if it's completely last minute, he manages to find time (somehow!) to take our fur babies out for walks. He's even taught them to sit at a crosswalk before crossing a street. Definitely consider him for your fur babies as well!
Alyx is an avid animal lover, particularly dogs. As a dog owner myself I love bringing her over to visit with Alyx and his dog knowing that they will get the attention and care that they need.

It would be helpful for me to know the following, as I feel it helps me communicate with your babygirl/boy better: -Commands (anything beyond, "sit" "stay" "down" "file my quarterly taxes" -Some dogs have a "don't ever pet me there" zone, it would be helpful to know if and where this is, as I've become accustomed to my ten fingers :) -Anything specific that triggers their sense of defensiveness or any other instinct. This could be squirrels or rabbits (as is for my dog), other dogs, bikes, cars, skateboards (as is for my dog), mail carriers, etc.
A typical day
I will typically walk your dog in the neighborhood they're most used to. For higher energy dogs, going beyond the beaten path engages their senses and expends more energy, that would be the route I'd take.
