Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies and other small pets since I was 15. I adopted my first dog when I was 17 and haven't looked back since. I have experience training and working with dogs of all sizes and ages including puppies. Throughout my experience I've administered medicine, walked dogs, trained dogs, watched over them at my home and taken all precautions to keep them healthy and safe. My intuition and experience have helped me to read behaviors and keep dogs out of sticky situations. I look forward to working with you and your furbabies to provide that personal attention when you might not be able to.

Alyssum has watched two of my dogs for over 15 years and has had her own for years as well. She is an incredible person, dog mom and friend. I trust her, undoubtedly, and prefer her over anyone else to care for my little (big) fur baby. I highly recommend her as one of the best people you could ask for to care for your pets.

My home has a large fenced yard and ample space inside for your pet. I live close to several parks and also a great dog park that's only a couple of blocks away. My husband and brother also live here and can provide extra snuggles and attention. I have two dogs, one named Sal who is a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. He likes to play but gets the hint if other dogs don't want to. The other dog is Grim, who is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, he is friendly with certain dogs, but doesn't like to be bothered. Because of this we have decided it's not fair to do overnights or day care at the house. We allow our furbabies on the couches and bed so your friend will be nice and cozy if that is what you want. If not there is plenty of room to crate your pet as well.

A typical day
I like to go for walks around the neighborhood (Bitterroot Trail is great!), to the dog park or hit the trails if we have enough time. I like playing fetch, swimming, tug of war, rolling in the grass or snow. Really whatever floats their boat.

Availability
I like many others am currently unemployed due to COVID-19 and have flexible availability. This being said I am currently not doing house sitting due to safety concerns. Also, we have chosen not to do overnights at our home as to not stress out our newest addition Grim.
