Pet care experience
I have had the opportunity to love and care for pets my entire life. I miss my family pets everyday and since I left for college in 2012, I have always been too busy to have a pet of my own. To combat those feelings, I have and continue to care for all my friends' pets whenever they need. Currently, I still own no pets of my own and work remotely. This allows me to care for pets in their home and schedule walks. In fact, the Serotonin boost throughout my workday will be welcomed and encouraged!

Happy to have had Alyssa stay with my dogs while I was away.
Alyssa did an excellent job caring for our pets. All three of our dogs can be high maintenance. However, Alyssa stepped up to the responsibilities with no complaint and made sure to show them love and patience while we were away. We would highly recommend her to any pet owners!
Alyssa was very easy to work with and made me feel great leaving my boys at home! She is fast to respond and answers all of your questions. She followed all of my instructions to the T and sent me lots of pictures. Will absolutely be using her again!
Alyssa has taken care of my previous dog, Anook...a 70lb rambunctious husky and did a wonderful job. She is a loving and attentive dog lover. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Due to the location of my home and lack of fenced in yard, I will not be providing services at my home; however, I feel extremely comfortable providing safe care in your homes and in my neighborhood. I live in the Normaltown neighborhood of Athens and can navigate all the back streets so traffic can be kept to a minimum. Additionally, in your home, if you do not have a fenced yard, I understand the importance of your dogs being kept on leashes while relieving themselves. I am excellent at following directions so your pets are kept as safe as possible!

Please let me know any information that you feel I should know prior to meeting your dog. I believe that you cannot over communicate in this regard. The most important thing for me to know is if your dog will run if off-leash, if they bite strangers, or if they are timid. I want to make sure I am giving the best possible care.
A typical day
Besides walks around the the neighborhood, if you are comfortable with this, I have a season pass to the dog park and can take a high energy dog to the fenced in area to give them the exercise they need!

Availability
I have a stable position working remotely, with a flexible schedule. I will be able to schedule dog boarding, doggy day care and dog walking easily, throughout the week and on the weekends. As long as I have my laptop I can come play with your pets in their environment!
