My two pittie mixes have challenged me in plenty of ways. One is very strong willed, and reactive on a leash, so I have lots of experience using different leash methods, as well as redirecting focus for successful and tiring walks. My other girl is a pocket pittie with a genetic disorder that causes early blindness. I have worked more with her using smells and voice commands. I think my most valuable trait I have to offer is the patience that is necessary with working with a more challenging dog. I work part time as a teacher through Buffalo Public Schools. I enjoy meeting new people and LOVE hearing stories about your pets! I am available Monday - Friday afternoons, and MWF evenings. I am also available for weekend visits and overnights with advance notice.

I don't know anyone who loves dogs as much as Alyssa. When Alyssa works with her own dog and other dogs, she is careful and thorough. She is in tune with what the dog may be feeling and can anticipate possible reactions. Whether it is long walks, trips to the dog park, or just hanging out at home, Alyssa puts care and love into everything she does with dogs. She is assertive when she needs to be, but makes sure to show affection and give plenty of rewards for good behavior.

I am happy to walk new or familiar routes with your animal. My favorite game is "hide and seek," in which I hide a bone or toy for your dog to sniff out and find.

Availability
I work part-time, leaving lots of daylight in the afternoons for getting a nice walk in. I love passing time with animals and look forward to sharing the simple pleasures of being outdoors with your dog.
