Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid, and have experience with walking dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have pet sat professionally for about 2 years now and I would be happy to take of your pets in any way you please. I have experience administering medication to pets and provide quick communication and updates to clients. I also have experience with exotic animals like guinea pigs, turtles, parrots, and fish. I like to update clients after every visit with their pet to let them know how things are going and if there are any concerns or questions. I try to take pictures every visit as well. I can take care of older pets, as well as puppies and kittens. I am always willing to learn what works best for you and your family to best support your pet while you are away.

I like to get a full understanding of everything the owner would like done and their preferences so I can provide the best care I can for their pet. I approach every pet calmly and with care so I can build a trusting relationship with them. I have plenty of experience with timid animals so I am used to working on building connections with pets. I can crate pets, feed, walk, administer medication, and play with them. When walking dogs I keep them close by me on their leash in case they react badly to other dog or other dogs are aggressive towards them. I make sure I know how to pet on their leash/harness before I take them outside and that they are securely attached to me.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs whether that is walking or running with them, playing with their toys, or just spending time with them at their home. I also love to spend time with cats, whether this is playing with them or just giving them attention and loving on them.

Availability
I am getting my masters in statistics through the online program at NC state so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a lot of availability and can easily work around things. I only own a year old cat and 2 guinea pigs. I had a dog growing up and had a cat for 12 years until she recently passed away.
