I’ve always had pets around my home ranging from cats, dogs, bunnies, reptiles, and rodents. I worked full time for Rover during my college years and have never had an animal that I didn’t find one way or another to click with. Between growing up with animals and devoting my free time to caring for them, I have an expansive history with them.

Pets are a member of your family, and I can guarantee you that Alyssa will treat your pets like they are a part of hers. Not only does she have her own two cats whom she loves unconditionally and cares for responsibly, she has also watched my dogs and cats before. She kept up with their schedule, took my dogs for walks, and always treated them with the most love and care. Alyssa is incredibly responsible, intelligent, and great at communicating. I promise she will love and treat your pets as if they are her own.
Alyssa is a caring and trustworthy companion for any pet, especially dogs and cats. She has two cats of her own, both of whom are rescues and currently happily zooming around her apartment. She has experience sitting and walking cats and dogs of all different breeds, ages, and personalities. She even has nursed a fallen bird back to health, and generally somehow seems to draw love from all sorts of animals. Alyssa has funded her own college education through work and loans and successfully graduated with honors, so you can also count on her sense of responsibility, timeliness, and orderliness. If you hire Alyssa, you can be confident that your pets will be taken care of with love, as well as properly according to the instructions you leave her.

I have two goofy orange cats in my home and I consider them to be my children. I do not plan to welcome other animals into my home as it could potentially cause them stress. I plan to offer walking, drop-in and sitting services only so I am flexible with however future clients prefer me to have access to their home/pets.

A typical day
I believe that a walk is more than just a stroll down the road. It is a time for your pet(s) to be both mentally and physically stimulated. There are a few local tennis courts that I like to throw balls around and let them run free (as it is fully and safely enclosed. I provide games that will also require mind work (such as the treats hidden in a towel). I am also a runner and if you and your pet are comfortable with it, I would gladly take them on runs with me. After returning home, your pet should be properly exhausted and ready for a nap!

Availability
In the fall I intend to pursue my doctorate in neuroscience. Until then, I have full availability to care for and attend to my clients beloved pets. :)
