Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old, and am 21 now. I have had two different breeds, and have helped with training both dogs (more with our newest addition)! I love taking my pup for walks, and so I thought why not get out there and help someone else! I love dogs of all kinds and kind of gravitate towards them in a room! I love to help out when my pup needs a bath, a walk, to be fed, needs water, etc. I also helped out one of my high school teacher’s 1-2 times a week during my lunch break to let their dog out and take him for a walk, and if I had time to play with him!

Alyssa is very kind and loving to my two dogs Tucker (teddy bear) and Henry (cavapoo). They’re both under two and have lots of puppy energy. She takes them for long walks and plays them which they absolutely love and so do I because it tires them out. They are always excited to see Alyssa.

As stated in my experience, I took care of my teacher’s dog in high school, and he trusted me to go into his home and take care of his dog and trusted me to lock up, make sure the dog was safe, etc. (I think those are all bare minimum things, but you never know!) I like to warm myself up to the dog first and sort of introduce myself, it’s not assumed that every dog loves all people, some need to warm up to you and that’s fine by me, that’s honestly just like me! I just want the dog to feel comfortable and taken care of and loved!

I am currently taking a break from school, so my schedule is pretty open. I have a few days when I will have an appointment or two, but I usually have some decent chunks of free time!
