Pet care experience
I love animals and have looked after my own pets and pets of friends and family since i was a teenager. I strive to be good to every pet in my care whether they require medical care, punctual visits, or high energy play. I have some experience administering medications. I love to take dogs hiking, and I've never met a pet that didn't warm up to me. Thanks for considering me to care for your precious pets.

Alyssa is intelligent, hard working, dedicated, and more than anything Alyssa keeps her word when she says she is going to accomplish something. Alyssa is also very passionate, most of all when it comes to animals. She knows them on a deeper level than most everyone I’ve met. My two big dogs love and respect her, and she takes great care of them every time we can’t take them with us on our travels.
Alyssa is one of the best sitters I have found! She has great communication, very responsive in a timely manner and did an amazing job looking after my sweet Remi. I would recommend her to anyone looking for pet care!!

I strive to make sure you feel safe leaving your pets in my company. I keep dogs on a short leash when I walk to minimize risk and I can read the signs of when your dog or cat is not feeling well. I am very respectful of the homes I enter into and I aim to be as communicative as possible.
Information Alyssa T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know what kind of temperament your animal has, especially if they are shy, have a history of aggression when scared, or don’t have much experience with sitters yet. Also of course please let me know of any special care instructions for your precious friend, I will always do my absolute best to make them feel comfortable and keep their routines in place. Even if your cat has a silly ritual that it has to walk around you 3 times and have you sing happy birthday before you can set the bowl down, let me know so I can make them as comfortable as possible :)
A typical day
For my doggy drop ins I always like to make sure that we get a few minutes of play in to get some energy out and to strengthen our bond. For cats I always make sure to let them approach me first and respectfully “speak” their language so meeting me isn’t overwhelming for our shyer kitties. For walks (and sometimes hikes when I can) I make sure that your dogs get the exercise they need and that we’re staying safe and hydrated at all times. And I enjoy every minute of it!

Availability
I work part time and am available anytime except Tuesday-Thursday before 3pm. I prefer to take dog hikes in the morning before 11am during hot weather days.
