My name is Alyssa and I am in my last year of medical school at Jefferson. I am home most hours of the day playing with my own dog! I grew up with dogs for the past 20 years and have fully trained a puppy while in college. I live an active life style and would love running with your dog, taking your dog on long walks, or to the dog park. I live a short distance to Seger park. I currently have one dog at my apartment, a lab mix who is almost 4 years old. She is very friendly and good with other dogs. If your dog does not play well with others, they can be separated easily throughout the apartment. I love dogs and would love to meet yours! I am in interview season for residency programs so I am home often. My schedule revolves around my dogs at the moment. We go to the dog park 3/4 times a week! Pets are allowed on furniture and on the bed. I am able to separate the dogs for meal time if needed! I am able to walk the dogs for as long as needed.

Alyssa (and her dog Nugget!) we’re great with Len. She sent regular updates/ pick up and drop off were smooth/ administered medicine etc. Our dog Len slept for 48 hours straight after coming back from his 4 day play session there!
Alyssa was wonderful. She kept me informed about Maxi and sent periodic photo updates. From the pics, Maxi looked at ease with her.
Alyssa was a great sitter. She kept me updated throughout each day on how my dog was doing with texts and pictures. She was accommodating around my drop off and pick up. Highly recommend using Alyssa!
Alyssa deserves a 10 Star Rating! My dog had a medical emergency while under Alyssa's care and she made a BIG and smart decision to take him to the animal hospital I had on my dog's record. I had just gotten back from a business trip and was so relieved that my sweet dog was in responsible hands! She drove my dog an hour to the hospital and stayed until we were able to get news on my dog's status. She even followed up to see how my dog was doing hours after. Truly amazing! No one could have anticipated my dog's medical needs and I am just so thankful Alyssa was on the mission. She's incredibly caring, very communicative and utterly responsible. She's #1 in my book and I give her the highest of all ratings! Thank you, Alyssa!

A typical day
A typical day involves getting up, taking a 6 block walk, serving breakfast, and then playing/relaxing until the afternoon walk. I normally do a long walk around Jefferson and the green areas around there, or to Seger park. I then serve dinner and do another shorter walk for about 6 blocks. Walks can be adjusted based on the needs of the dog!
