Pet care experience
I love hanging out with dogs! I enjoy taking them for walks, sitting around, cuddling, or playing with toys! I'm happy to just relax with your dog in the environment they know best and will follow any directions you leave to take care of your four legged companion! I've helped watch friends' dogs before and always enjoy making sure the dog is comfortable and happy. I find this is best when you stay with them in their known environment, so I'm happy to stay at your residence to watch your fur baby. I'm a graduate student, so while I have classes and teaching duties, I am pretty good at working around my schedule to meet your needs.

Alyssa was available for a last minute house sitting. She was super accommodating, both before the trip with such short notice, and after, when we came home a day early without a ton of notice. All around, I'm very happy with her and will definitely use her again.
Alyssa did a great job caring for my 3 dogs and turtle while I was away for over a week. I'm normally very nervous about leaving my babies, but she sent me lots of updates and pictures so I knew everyone was happy and doing well. I came home to happy and healthy pets and a clean and well cared for home. I would definitely hire her again and reccomend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter.

If you ask my cat Princess Carolyn, she'll tell you that I stare at the warm box a lot (the necessary evils of studying), but she'll also tell you I give many pets and treats. For dog walking, I'm almost as excited as the dog to go for a walk as they are.

Let me know if your pet has any medication or special needs. I have no problem taking care of those, but do appreciate the head's up ahead of time.
A typical day
For walks, I find that meandering a neighborhood or street I haven't been done is fun. I'm also totally fine to take your dog to the dog parks nearby, if that works for your dogs. I also enjoy just hanging out with couch potato or homebody pets as well. There are always toys and cuddling at home!

Availability
I'm a graduate student and teaching assistant, so I have classes to work around. I only don't list Tuesdays and Wednesdays as available days because those are my longest class days, but if needs really arose, I could figure it out. Most days, I just have evening classes or studying to do.
