Hi! My name is Alyssa and I work as a speech-language pathologist in the area. I cared for a Jack Russell Terrier for 17 years of my life! He passed away about 5 years ago and it was one of the hardest things I’ve been through. I have a domestic short hair cat named Maeby that’s 6 years old and I am obsessed with her! It’s hard for me to imagine my life without pets and see myself always having a pet in all stages of my life. I do miss dogs and would love to doggy sit and/or cat sit! I’m very attentive to my own pets and my friends and family’s pets when they’ve asked me to watch them. I can guarantee your pet will be taken care of and loved while in my care!

I only offer going to the pet’s home to care for them. I feed your pets and then clean litter boxes and/or take dogs out right when I arrive normally. After that I’ll play with them or if they just want to relax and snuggle, we can do that too!

Let me know any preferences you have as far as feeding, playing, and/or walks, if needed. It’s nice to know energy level of the dogs/cats and maybe how long to let them out or how long it takes them to eat. Temperaments and triggers are also good info. Any additional info is welcomed!
A typical day
I will play with them with any toys or if they need a walk I will do that. If they want to just relax, I will give them lots of pets!

Availability
I work a full time job and sometimes travel downstate on weekends. I am typically available after 5 or 5:30 but occasionally work later, I won’t know until the week before if I work late though.
