Pet care experience
I have had pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) my entire life and just love being around animals at all times. I’ve raised puppies and kittens to end of life and have never raised a hand towards an animal for any reason. I believe in strict discipline when it comes to potty training and usually train my animals to go off leash/stay in yard to create that positive bond between owner and pet. My mom used to bring home litters of kittens which we would hand feed and take care of it until we found them new homes. I have three dogs of my own currently, from ages 3 to 15 and have always provided a loving home for them all to thrive and grow positively.

Alyssa is a pet enthusiast. She always gives extra lovin’s to my three dogs. But more than that she is a responsible and respectful young woman. She is a joy to have around and she’d make an excellent care taker.
Alyssa has a nearly preternatural sense for animal care and treats each and every pet as if it were her own family, putting their needs, concerns, and feelings on par with the humans in her life. To Alyssa, every pet (especially dogs) deserves to feel at home, loved, and cared for above all else. She owns two wonderful pet dogs of her own (a golden retriever and border collie/German shepherd mix) and has always lived with a dog since birth. There are many self-proclaimed “dog lovers” but Alyssa goes the extra mile for man’s best friend, unfailingly treating them like her own children and providing them with only the best in caregiving experience, companionship, and good old-fashioned canine love.
I highly recommend Alyssa as a furbaby caregiver. She is very compassionate toward animals and would love yours as her own. She has assisted in the care of our furbabies for a very long time, and they all love to see her. She would be an asset to your pet care team.

I will always require knowledge of food preferences and allergies. If treats (and what kind/how many per day are allowed). If dogs do well with others. If they need more or less potty time. How well they do with children (I have a four year old who has grown up around all kinds of animals so he knows how to respect and treat them kindly). What each dog is allowed to do at home (ie play time, furniture roam, feeding schedule, etc).
A typical day
I have a large backyard for the dogs to run and play in, fully supervised. There are a few dog parks and regular parks nearby for all day fun with other dogs. I have plenty of dog toys and ample space inside for dogs to roam and either play with one another or have some alone time. I will provide both group and one on one time with each and every dog that I bring into my home.
