Pet care experience
After growing up with country dogs, I moved to the big city and adopted fur babies of my own. I learned quickly that I would need train my dogs or they would be training me. And so began a love affair with learning all I could about dog training and behavior. Besides raising and training my own dogs, I have experience walking dogs at the San Francisco shelter, fostering dogs through Front Street, and have been through several obedience classes with my dogs including the AKC Canine Good Citizen program. My full-time job has flexible hours M-F, but I usually work 7-8 hrs/day with the occasional shift on the weekends. I am available mornings and evenings for dog walks and visits with flexibility for mid-day visits. Your dog is welcome here or I can come to you!

Alyssa is a great boarder! Her compassion shows! When I booked my dogs stay, she insisted we meet early to insure the other dogs would get along with mine. I could tell she genuinely cared for my dog as if it was one of her own. I will not hesitate to use Alyssa again!
Alyssa is the most wonderful & caring human I know. She has such a love for dogs & is constantly accommodating her lifestyle to make sure her dogs are well taken care of & have the best manners. She is a bit of a bookworm with training books/shows/classes so she has the most up to date information on dog obedience and training. She will be the perfect person to care for your lovely pet while you are away.
This was the first time we left Lulu with Alyssa and I have to say it was amazing! Lulu really got along with Summer and they were always playing ! It was important to us that we find a sitter who was able to meet the needs of our dog Lulu. Our family loved that we were able to meet with Alyssa before the stay along with her pets and that we were able to talk about all our questions. Alyssa also sent us photos throughout our stay of Lulu which we really appreciated! It was very clear that Aylssa loves and cares for the animals she boards and our family would definitely leave Lulu with Alyssa again!
Alyssa's love for dogs is obvious...she cares so deeply for animals, and this is apparent to both the owners and their 4-legged friends. Alyssa is responsible yet fun-loving, which is the perfect combo for a loving dog caregiver. She makes sure the animals are happy and having fun, all while creating a safe and secure environment for the dogs. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver.

A typical day
The V Street Pack takes daily morning walks and has playtime or another walk in the evening. Southside Park is a few quick blocks away and is a great place for longer outings. If your dog enjoys being out on the town, we can head to R St for patio hangouts. I also enjoy hiking and camping for dogs staying a bit longer.
