*NEW UPDATE* Our dog, Gus 🐶,who is in most of the pictures in my profile, passed in Nov 2021. We welcomed our new puppy son, Rocky, to our home in Aug 2022. He was 8wks old when we got him. Rocky is almost 2, continuing his training & socialization journey, & I will continue to be selective on new boarding clients so we can make sure Rocky is as generous of a host as Gus was! My name is Alyssa & I have lived in the Clemson area for 9 years. With enough notice, I’m available for Clemson game days as well! I have been a loving dog owner for most of my adult life. I am a very active person who can take your pet on long walks or even runs if they want. I have experience with animal rehab & activity restriction. I only take on one client at a time, but may allow for a couple hours to a couple nights overlap with another booking if agreed upon by everyone.

We have two fur babies, one is a senior and the other is a pup. Alyssa amazing with both of them! It is so great to have such a reliable, caring and responsible person taking care of our babies when we are away!
Upon meeting Alyssa and her husband we knew our pups would be well taken care of while we spent a long weekend visiting with family. We traveled down from VA so we weren’t able to do an initial meet and greet, but Alyssa knew the best way to introduce our pups to her house and her pup, Rocky, and we left knowing everyone was going to have a great time! Alyssa went above and beyond sending updates with pictures and videos daily which really put our minds at ease. We will absolutely use Alyssa again if we are down in that area again!!
Great communication while we were away including pictures and videos. Our pup came home happy and healthy. We will definitely use Alyssa again!

I have a large fenced in yard. Perfect for your pup to roam freely, enjoy the space to run, or find a spot to sunbathe. Dogs are welcomed on our furniture, we have plenty of dog beds, toys, & lick mats to make your pup feel at home 🏡

Is your dog good with other dogs? We have an 2yr old pup that we are continuing to train & socialize. He’s been great with all our guests so far! He still has a lot of puppy energy, but will back off when other dogs don’t like his style of play. Also, I would like to know any special food & activity considerations before accepting to sit for your fur baby. Please let me know if your pet is crate trained & if they have any issues with separation anxiety.
A typical day
My husband and I enjoy time outside in our fenced in yard with our Rover guests. With our more active dogs, longer neighborhood walks and exploring local trails are in store!

Availability
My work schedule is weird, but generally the same week to week. A dog is not alone more than 4-6hrs in my home. I generally work afternoons w/a few late nights mixed in. **New clients*** short term notice may be difficult if work conflicts or a repeat client has already booked, but I will let you know my availability in a timely matter.
