Alyssa and I have been roommates for 3 years now, about few months into living together, she heard about a dog who was going to be euthanized if no one claimed him. Instantly, Alyssa was on the phone to her parents begging her to allow her to adopt this beautiful golden retriever... Her dad was in Hong Kong at the time and so she even had me on standby to adopt him if her dad said no! Without wanting to wait Alyssa decided to go ahead and adopt the dog, which she would call Boomer, and deal with the consequences that may follow from her parents (none did, because once you meet boomer your heart just really melts). I went with Alyssa to pick Boomer up and her love for dogs was apparent the second we got out of the car to meet sweet boomy. I knew that Alyssa had grown up with dogs, she had two family dogs at home in Texas, at the time, but I never knew how deeply and genuinely she cared for dogs. The second we met Boomer, it was like the two of them were always meant to be mom and pup. Lyss is so caring for her dogs and gives them only the best of everything. She always puts Boomer first, before her school work and before her socializing and I know that she would do the same for any dog she interacts with. I should also mention that if Lyss is watching or caring for your dog she won't just be walking and feeding them, she will walk them until they poop (if she knows they haven't gone) even if that means she's walking for an hour! And... If there's a dog park near by, you better believe she is taking your little pup to play ball and to get some puppy playtime! I honestly could not suggest or recommend a better person to care for your doggie!

I trust Alyssa with both of my dogs. She has walked, and fed both of my dogs many times. She is very good with them, and loves every dog she meets.
