Pet care experience
I can't remember a time in my life that I wasn't caring for and falling for dogs. I grew up attached to my family's West Highland terrier and spent my middle and high school years adventuring with my family's Golden Retriever. Recently, my family adopted a small West Highland Terrier puppy who I enjoy visiting and entertaining. I have since started caring for dogs outside my family, including an adorable snorting and snoring bulldog named Hennie.

Alyssa was absolutely amazing with Hazel! I got pictures and updates throughout each day I was gone. Alyssa left the apartment cleaner than I did and I came home to a very happy puppy. I would recommend her to anyone she is the best.
Alyssa did an incredible job caring for our puppy, Sonny Boy!!! She was a fantastic companion and caretaker for our guy. He is quite needy in terms of activity and attention, but Alyssa went above and beyond to make sure he had ample exercise and love. For example, she worked on her laptop on the floor next to his dog bed when he whined for her attention. :) Her daily check ins made us (helicopter puppy parents) feel completely at ease. She managed his complex food and medicine routines as well. When our return flight was delayed, she stayed late with Sonny. We returned to a clean apartment and a happy dog! We look forward to using Alyssa again (and know Sonny will be happy to see her)!
Our bulldog Hennie LOVES Alyssa and we do too! Alyssa watches our little snore machine when we are away and we always feel at ease knowing our fur baby is in good hands. Hennie is a rescue and comes with her own set of challenges that Alyssa handles with grace and love. If you need someone to care for your pup I highly recommend Alyssa!
Alyssa dogsat for me while I went on a trip and my puppy Ottis had a great time! Such a great time in fact, that he didn't even seem excited to see me when I returned...kinda a meh reaction. Alyssa is genuine, trustworthy, kind, thoughtful, and a total puppy person! She does what she says she'll do and with gusto--I highly recommend her to care for any animal and hope my dog gets the chance to hang with her again soon!

Please let me know if you have any particular habits or routines that you'd like me to adhere to, or if there is any information about the apartment or your neighbors I ought to know before spending the night (should you chose the house-sitting service!). I would also appreciate knowing your dog's level of human and dog friendliness; for example, does he or she love or hate nearby dog parks?
A typical day
If there is a park nearby, you will find me and your pup there in the mornings and evenings. If you have a large dog, I am a runner and would love to take it on a run with me. If you have a small dog, we can walk until we tire and share a blanket over a movie.
