Greetings:) My name is Alyssa, and I am a huge dog and cat person. I have taken care of my own dogs my entire life growing up(walking, feeding, giving water, bathing, etc.) Recentley, one of my childhood dogs named Penny, passed away last year at the age of seventeen years old. Not a day goes by where I don't think about her, and miss her. She was my bestfriend for the longest time. And I loved her so much. I have pet sitted for family members a few times. I was employed at Petsmart as a Petcare Associate for four years. My job required me to take care of all our animals(fish,birds,small animals, and reptiles). I fed them, gave them water, changed dirty bedding, scrubbed and syphoned dirty fish tanks, got them ready for sell, and provided customer service. Anytime I noticed an animal might be sick, I took them off the sales floor, and got them set up in our isolation hospital room. Afterwards, I got them checked in to the Banfield Vet Hospital in our building. Then, I provided them with what ever oral, or external medications that were required for their treatment. So I have really good experience caring for them, and interacting with them. I also have very good previous volunteer experience. I cleaned the cat adoption cages at Petsmart, volunteered for ARF(Animal Rescue Foundation), and for the Humane Society in Tulsa.
