Pet care experience
Growing up in an animal-loving household, I have had pets since I was young. I have always loved animals of all shapes and sizes, from the Shih Tzu I had as a child to the 90 lb German Shepherd I had as an adult. My pets have always been my babies to me, and I treat every animal I encounter the same as I would my own. I have experience with many breeds of dogs and cats. There is no dog too big, small, or energetic for me! I work a full-time job, which affects my availability during the week. However, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns and I will do my best to work something out for you. I am currently working from home, so I can provide flexibility in care during the day and at night. Just send me a message and I’ll let you know if I can accommodate. :) I try to treat every animal I watch as my own - meaning lots of playtime, love, and attentive care. Whatever your normal routine is, I can mirror when caring for your pets!

Alyssa is super sweet and friendly. She did a meet and greet with our puppy, and we left him for the first time with her. She did a great job, kept him at her place, sent me photos and he had a great time. I felt very comfortable with her!
We are very lucky to have found Alyssa! This summer we have gone through a lot of changes including taking care of some ducklings and getting a new puppy! Alyssa has been eager yet honest to help us with any of our animals, no matter two feet or four. We have chickens, 4 cats (two with FIV), 2 dogs, a snake, fish and a frog that Alyssa takes amazing care of! Alyssa is also very caring for our house and responsible, honest and smart if any situations do arise. You can trust Alyssa and I would recommend her for any situation!
I recently booked Alyssa to take care of my dog for a day while I was at work and needed a last minute sitter. Alyssa was awesome. She was accommodating, friendly, calm, and sweet. She let me know what she planned for the day with my dog which included walks and going to play at the dog park. She was responsive when I messaged her to check in (yea, I'm THAT dog mom-lol). I will definitely book Alyssa again and I highly recommend her.
After my 90 yr old father had hip surgery, we hired Alyssa for three months to walk my father’s German Shepard, Dakota. She was responsible, on time, flexible and even updated us with any changes she noticed in Dakota. She was also respectful and very kind to my father. We were very fortunate to have found her!
